King’s Baton Relay – Scotland 2026

Planning and Delivery

MIH Major Events Ltd is delighted to be working in partnership with Purple Moon and Commonwealth Games Scotland to support the delivery of the King’s Baton Relay across Scotland in the lead-up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Beginning on 1 July at the Team Scotland Team Camp in Glasgow, the reimagined Relay will span 23 days of activity, bringing the Baton to communities across the country through a dynamic programme of over 50 events and festivals.

This refreshed hub-and-spoke approach enables greater accessibility and engagement, ensuring that communities throughout Scotland have the opportunity to be part of the journey. The Baton will feature at a wide range of high-profile cultural and sporting events, including the Luss Highland Games, Glasgow Mela Festival, the Scottish Open, HebCelt Festival and the British National Mountain Biking Championships.

MIH is proud to contribute to the planning and delivery of this national moment, working collaboratively with partners to create an engaging and inclusive programme that celebrates Team Scotland, Scottish culture and the spirit of the Commonwealth Games.
