MIH Major Events Ltd were proud to support Aston Villa Football Club and city partners in the planning and delivery of the Club’s UEFA Europa League victory parade in Birmingham.

Commissioned to develop contingency plans for a potential parade, the team were required to mobilise at pace following last-minute confirmation. This presented a complex operational challenge, which was met through rapid coordination, experienced leadership and strong multi-agency collaboration.

Led by Melanie Cook, the MIH team – including Dan Jones, Caroline Davis, Thomas Fleming and Rosie O’Connell – worked in close partnership with Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Police and key stakeholders across the city to deliver a safe, well-managed and highly successful event.

The parade saw thousands of supporters line the streets of Birmingham to celebrate the Club’s historic achievement. The event was delivered to a high standard, with positive feedback received from partners including West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council, reflecting the professionalism and commitment of all involved.
